Here are a few ideas that I think are good ones, but beyond my scope of doing anything about thatĀ I wish someone would run with…
Aircraft Bubble Window
This idea came to me after learning to fly the Cessna 152, 172, and 182. I noticed when taxing on the ground it was very nice to pop open the window and let my arm rest on the windowsill — it added about 4-6 inches on both sides of much-needed cabin width. What if you were to replace the flat, straight window with an aerodynamic bubble shaped window, leaving the equivalent armrest width on the bottom? All small Cessna pilots and passengers would enjoy about 6 inches of extra cabin width at the shoulder level.
